How to talk with our office about payment, insurance, and the cost of care at Bluebonnet Chiropractic.
Quality chiropractic care should be easy to understand, and that includes the cost. Whatever your situation — insured, paying for care yourself, recovering from an auto or work injury, or on Medicare — the simplest first step is a quick call to our office. We will talk through your situation and help you understand what to expect before your first visit.
Paying for care yourself
Many people choose to pay for chiropractic care directly rather than through insurance. Call our office and we will walk you through self-pay pricing before your first visit, and ask about our new patient special if you are new to the practice.
Health insurance
Chiropractic coverage varies widely from one plan to the next, and so do deductibles, co-pays, and visit limits. Before your first visit, call our office with your plan details and we will talk through your options. It is also a good idea to ask your insurer directly what chiropractic benefits your plan includes.
Auto accident injury
Texas is an at-fault state, so care after a car accident may be paid through the at-fault driver's liability coverage, your own Personal Injury Protection (PIP) or MedPay coverage if your policy includes it, or your health insurance. Bring your claim information to your first visit and we will talk through your situation. This is general information, not legal advice.
Work injury
Injuries that happen on the job are often handled through workers' compensation, which has its own process and paperwork. If you were hurt at work, call our office before you book so we can talk through your situation and the best way to proceed.
Medicare
Medicare has its own rules about which chiropractic services it covers, and many services fall outside them. If you have Medicare, call our office before your first visit and we will talk through what that means for your care and what to expect for costs.
